From the Archives: Ummm?

Sometimes you come across stuff you just don’t know what to do with. Here’s one from my recent research for my book about early public schools in the 1800s:chart prepared for a lecture on mnemonics by Wm. B. FowleFowle was an avid lecturer on topics including reading instruction, phrenology, and apparently mnemonics. I can’t tell from the files what this lecture included, but I’m guessing Fowle taught people how to remember these things with a snazzy mnemonic system.
